The Challenge
A major social impact foundation struggled to win institutional grants because they could not cryptographically prove that funds were reaching the intended micro-projects without exorbitant auditing fees. They needed an innovative MVP to provide immutable, transparent tracking of fund disbursement.
The Solution Architecture
We engineered a secure platform that bridged traditional web architecture with Web3. We built a standard React/Node portal for daily operations. However, critical financial disbursements triggered smart contracts written in Solidity and deployed on the Polygon network (for low gas fees). This created a public, immutable ledger of all transactions that institutional donors could verify independently. **System Architecture:** Frontend: React.js | Backend: Node.js (Express) | Blockchain: Solidity, Polygon Network, Ethers.js | Database: MongoDB (off-chain metadata).
The Impact & Key Results
- 100% Cryptographic Program Transparency
- Secured 3 Major Institutional Grants
- 120% Increase in Donor Trust
- Eliminated Manual Financial Auditing Overhead
